Have managed to do several of your 12v kits, and am impressed.
Was thinking of these kits, always 3 and a resistor.

What is better/best, to use 3 and a resistor ?
Or 4 and no resistor at all ?

Haven't tried, yet. Just thinking before I make something stupid....

3 and a resistor! Partly because the resistor gives better thermal stability and also because 4 LEDs on 12V can be too much and they won't light up at all. The resistor gives you wiggle room. Something I could have done with a bit more of when fitting my kitchen!
