Lamps?

Postby Ttaskmaster » Thu Feb 13, 2014 1:58 pm

Heya,

I'm looking at adding a decay/fadeout effect to a running light circuit, but haven't yet covered the section of my book that deals with resistors, transistors and what-have-you.
I thought that good old-fashioned bulb lamps would naturally fade out, though? If my memories of CDT class in school serves, I should be able to wire the LED pads on the PCB to the terminals on lamp holders?

Sooooo.... where on this planet can I find an assortment of smallish lamp holders and lamp bulbs?
Everywhere I know of seems to stock just LEDs these days.

Not really a resource for the old school bulbs! Tell me more about what you're planning

Literally, just a Larson Scanner, but with fadeout/decaying effect.
