Can't wait until we get to see your new production line.

Ever thought about PCB etching? I've seen some amazing DIY heated tanks ;) herehttp://www.recontech.co.uk/index.php/the-scieng/diy-pcb-etch-tank/41-diy-pcb-etch-tank-construction
tis Better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all

I thought about it. The chemicals are a bit nasty though.

It would differently need some planning before starting with PCB's that's for sure

Every time I've tried home PCB etching I've broken something! Probably worth revisiting for fast prototyping.

I might give it a try, just a small one, about A4 size and have the parts cut by you ;)

Get that milling machine built! I've seen some decent prototyping done with them.

As for smd soldering with ovens, I have bought "solder paste" before from online but seemed to me to just melt away to nothing like flux, any advice on a decent flux+ solder paste compound? It is so useful when it comes to soldering or reflowing mobile phone boards etc!

Have a look at this guide - http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2013/01/27 ... -tutorial/

A bit long, but might be of use.

Rescued by the EEV blog again haha, thanks! Am looking forward to being able to reflow tiny little connectors which are otherwise irreplaceable!
