Looks like they'll be with us on Monday. They arrived at the depot on time but for some reason didn't go out on Friday. Hope you have a good day tomorrow! As a dad I'm looking forward to being treated, seems my first treat will be taking the little one to ballet though!

At the moment any day will be a good day, been up since 5am , at work for 10hrs today.
By the time I finished I'd been inside so long that all I wanted was some air, so I've been out for a 4 mile (ish) run and now I'm settling with a cider or three!!
I may get some work done later or I may just go to sleep.........undecided as of yet! :D 8-) :o

Sorry for the additional delay. These are well worth the wait by the way.

They are rather sexy. I bought a similar set from halfords on a half price day, they're a great quality tool and not quite such a high price! I had toyed with buying all snap-on tools for my car kit, but decided in the end I wouldn't get the best use of the quality as a tinkerer, I think as a professional when you're using them day in day out you'll get the value over the lifetime of the product.

I think that's the way I tend to buy most of my tools, I buy the best quality I can afford as I find they tend to do a better job and last longer.
But as you say the Snap On level of equipment is amazing but overkill for the hobbyist or tinkerer.
On the other hand I have 2 friends who own/work in garages, and between them they have somewhere in the region of £100k worth of Snap On gear, and they wouldn't touch anything else!

Oh well, saw that the strippers were on offer (insert joke here) and thought, what's 1 day?
So I've placed an order!
I'll do a mini review once they arrive!
Only problem is that I'm gonna be needing a new toolbox soon! :|
