Tried to post that earlier but got an error. Double glazing would be lush. Have had a price and would like to get some in the new year. I like warmth! Would have died last week in the cold with a cold!

You can buy those glass panel type jobbies that go over your existing windows to create an (Almost) double glazed effect that keeps alot of the warm air in and cold out by adding that all important air filled void and 2nd layer of glass. They are designed in different models etc that open different ways and use different mechs and glass, all normally in an aluminium frame that screws over the top of the existing window into the frame or further back into the wall.
They are handy if you are renting a place as you can remove them and fill in the holes when you leave. I had them in a place years ago that was a listed building and the landlord wouldn't pay out the £1000's to have in-period double glassed window panes and frames installed.
They are obviously not as good as double or triple glazing but they are not bad at all, they def made a difference and they are cheap!

Love the new office, looking forward to the Phenoptix open day... :D (Not official, just an idea we are trying to push Ben into)

Had thought about those type of units. What I've been quoted are single upvc units that will fit inside the existing windows. £100 each seemed like a pretty good deal too so the new partition could be glazed for £200!
