Linux Arduino programming flaky - fix

Postby xanthic » Thu Jan 24, 2013 7:10 pm

I've had a few issues programming Arduinos programmed using Linux. Sometimes they would not respond at all, sometimes just hang whilst uploading code or sometime successfully upload and then present a fail message anyway...

So whilst I was trawling Adafruits website (with a ever growing shopping list lol), I found this - http://www.ladyada.net/learn/arduino/lesson0-lin.html

Turns out the braille support package can interfere with the Arduino. Details are in the link if you're penguin inclined.
