Voltage monitor lighting two led's depending on voltage

The 3.3v would switch the transistor off As it is a PNP type and light the red LED. A BC547b would work ok.. It's a very peculiar way of drawing the diagram with ground at the top.

Try a 10k resistor on the base and use the online led resistor calculator for the other one.

I tried to post a few weeks ago but couldn't sign in, good luck :-)
